Can I take the vehicle outside Algeria (to Tunisia or another country)?
No. Our vehicles are only authorized to be driven within Algerian territory and must not leave it under any circumstances. We therefore do not issue any authorization or exit certificate for customs.
What are the risks of leaving the country with a rental vehicle?
- Breach of contract: heavy financial penalties and termination of the rental without a refund.
- Protections canceled: in the event of an accident or damage, you will have to bear all repair or replacement costs.
- Additional fees and fines for failing to comply with the terms.
- Legal action may be taken.
- Confiscation of the vehicle by the customs authorities.
